Mayham and Maycation

I am sitting here looking at my calender for this month, and there is something written on almost every single day! This seems to happen every May... everyone crawls out of winter's cave, blinking in the sun (okay, blinking in the rain as the case may be this year), and then.... beer, concerts, parties, and late nights. It's the universal Urge to Gather! I even changed the name of the month on the calender to "Mayhem" to fit the feeling.

I was not immune (though I am supposed to be older and wiser now, right?) and I turned full Night Owl lately. Local shows, out of town shows, seeing shows, playing shows.... holy moley! Now, I don't go around taking lots of photos at night, but I do want to share some great shots that my friends took of my band at the Town House in Sacramento this last weekend. They are some of my favorite "live" pics of us EVER!

Now, after a few days rest, I am taking a "Maycation"- I'm off to the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium, aka "Witch Camp"! I am so excited.... I have been going for almost a decade now, and I am going to see so many good friends there, and learn so much. I promise to take some pictures! Here is what it's going to look like for me as I make the long roadtrip to Mendocino today.....

oooh, i loved your post about the symposium last year! can't wait to hear all about it, even the car ride out looks dreamy to me and it looks like you'll get nice sunny weather for the weekend right? as for those show shots, it makes me want to come see you BAD....i love the town house and that picture of you on stage, whew. it's a beaut.
