Americans have this idea that French women are beautiful, effortlessly sexy, and born with incredible style.
I think I would be hard pressed to argue with that right about now. Some things are cliches for good reason.
This is my customer Marie, who lives in Paris, and not only is she the absolute epitome of breezy bohemian chic, but her lovely, sepia-tinted photos seem to have just emerged straight out of a time machine from 1972.
You can buy cool clothes (like the shearling jacket from my shop that she is wearing here), but like momma said: you just can't buy style. You either have it or you don't. A huge *merci* to Marie for these great photos, and for being a true inspiration!

She's just gorgeous. I haven't been to Paris so I can't attest to their style, but as far as the internet can tell me the cliche is deeply rooted in the truth. I found myself wandering around chictopia the other day and discovered that I am totally, completely in love with Spanish women. I want to go to Barcelona and soak up everything they have to teach me about the balance of casual and "done" in fashion.
I've been reading your blog for ages and it just occurred to me to comment, haha. You've got a lovely thing going here Sasha.
Happy Weekend!
