Chris' New Years resolution: to go to more flea markets.
Saturday: Denios in Roseville.
Weather: cold soupy tule fog.
Bargains: hot.
He talked the seller down on this amp, and it actually works (you can't plug things in at a flea market)! The amazing orange rug? Your gain- we passed on it.
When you reach the edge of the flea market, you come to a chain-link fence where they will give you a handstamp so that you can cross the street to a semi-indoor annex. The handstamper told us that the annex is not connected with Denios (was it some kind of anarchist splinter flea market?). There was the same kind of junky stuff/potential treasures over there, but there was also a wall of vintage pinball machines and video games. Random and totally freaking awesome.
My scores? Two words:
Dinosaurs.
Unicorns.
If you go, I recommend the BBQ stand in the far corner of the produce section. Get the potato wedges with your burger.

Chris makes the best faces.
Vintage pinball machines are in fact the raddest.
Potato wedges sound fantastic.
