Mabon Moon

In honor of the full moon, and tomorrow's Venus transit, I want to share some images and music from one of my favorite creatrixes in the Etsy community- the amazing Kimberly Pierson at Mabon Moon Vintage and Gypsyja.

Kimberly lives in Emigrant, Montana (that scenery!), and she is an artist, musician, and purveyor of fine vintage goods. She is a force to be reckoned with!

I love how all of her Etsy photos are like little poems unto themselves....

Kimberly is not just abundantly talented in the visual arts, she is a musician as well. You can listen to the ethereal, haunting piano-based tunes of Gypsyja here... and she has a brand new collaborative project, Isslene and Leo, which can he heard here. Wow, Kimberly is so talented and I am favouriting the video - lets dress up as goddesses and get a pet leopard Sasha! Oooh and the Etsy shop is a treasure trove of goodies. Thank you for sharing this marvellous woman with us:)) xoxo

Dear Diary: The Only Way Out Is Forward My Diary from 1999, when I lived in a 70s Dodge van near the beach in Leucadia, California. Hello! I'm the owner of the big van parked behind you. Dear Diary: Oh Unicorn- Keep Me By You! I made this scrapbook in junior high, assembling my memorabilia from elementary school days. (that's me on the left as a "New Wave Witch" for Halloween in fifth grade) The Pretty Pony castle served as home base, but when I traveled with my parents, my favorite Pony (Minty, aka the one with a Shamrock on her butt) came with me in an elaborately decorated shoebox). There is a section in the scrapbook called "The Future" that contains a dozen blank pages. Maybe I should go and fill them in now?
